For the fourth year in a row the Deep Foundations Institute’s specialty seminar for Helical Foundations & Tiebacks has increased in size. This year’s seminar had roughly 115 attendees, up about 15 from last year. In fact, the attendance has increased by about 15 each of the last four years. With the awareness of helical foundations increasing all the time, it’s no wonder this seminar has been growing the way it has.
Helical Pier World was on display as an exhibitor, and of course, we think (no bias here) we were a hit.
As usual, it was a full day jam packed with eleven presentations on the docket. Two of these presentations (Update on the ICC-ES Process, Ram Jack’s upcoming software release) have write-ups about them here at HPW. With the number of attendees growing every year and the presentations filling up a whole day, how long will it be before this seminar becomes a two day affair?
Helical Pier World is trying to cover as many helical pier events as it can so that we can bring news of those events straight to you. If you have an event that you would like us to attend, please e-mail us at info@helicalpierworld.com. ![]()
